Yep. Easy to install and worked 1st go. A compact app would be good, but short cut on phone screen works ok, and with home vpn back to home, controllable from anywhere.
Trivial to install, integrated with Home Assistant via MQTT in seconds after entering the required settings. OTA updates work, built in web interface has everything you would expect. Excellent device, would immediately buy another one if we get any more Daikin units. We did have to pin the device to a single access point to prevent it from flapping between access points, but a relatively minor tweak. Requires no soldering or complex wiring, just plug the matching cable into both ends and set it up on your phone. Most complex part of the whole install was taking the cover off of the splitter.
Best thing ever! I was quoted $1,300 by Daikin so this was both a more affordable option and I can use with Home Assistant 😁 Installation was easy event for a hack like me!

Work as expecred, easy install.
Works exactly as advertised. Hardest part is the physical connection as the controller boards in Daikin fan coil units are not always easily exposed. But the rest of the process of installing one of these is a breeze and having two way communications with the AC unit so you get feedback about what is going on is just the bomb. I will be using these to replace Sensible Air Pro units, which while they were a really easy install and had a spiffy app interface, were just useless when it came to actually controlling the AC units.
