Faikout cable

A genuinely polished product. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the hardware, software, documentation, and support.

I ordered the module with a Type D cable, printed the DIY Tidy case, and connected it to my Daikin FTXM25UVMA. It worked perfectly.

I can now control my air conditioner through Home Assistant and see the unit’s actual status, regardless of how it was turned on or who turned it on. This is a major improvement over an IR blaster, which couldn’t reliably report the real operating state.

Easy to install, reliable, and very well designed. Highly recommended.

The board works perfectly, my home assistant setup now sets the temperature intelligently based on when people are home. It is good enough that I am planning on buying another one for the bedroom unit.
I would suggest people need at least a modicum of technical skill to install it since there are very few models of air on unit currently with tutorials on how to fit them.

It worked! length was correct, I used a couple tiny zip ties but not required, a little costly.

I selected the cable out of the database by using the exact model number. But onsite, it does not fit, because the device has s21 port only. I had no chance to open the device before. :-( But the cable itself is well configured and assembled…

When installing the unit on my Daikin fan coil (FWT04CATNMV1), I ran into an issue because the compatibility database had recommended a Type F cable, but my board actually required a Type G cable for its CN_WIRED header. I contacted support with photos, and Andrew replied quickly, took immediate ownership of the database error, and dispatched the correct Type G cable right away at no charge. He also included clear, precise instructions on configuring the module's settings.

The replacement arrived quickly, plugged right in, and worked flawlessly. It is rare to see this level of transparency, responsiveness, and genuine support. I'm already planning to order 4 more units for the rest of my system! Highly recommended.

This cable was just what I needed to get my North America Atmosphera model working. The connectors snapped right into the s21 port and the Faikout board. The length was great for my unit giving a couple of good mounting options for placement of the Faikoit.

Brilliant. Put into place, turned it on, did the set-up. Worked 1st go. Set up was a lot easier than a the other the other aircons with their own proprietary modules.

Before purchasing, I received a quick response to my questions by email. Ordering and delivery were straightforward and fast, and the device itself works perfectly. It allowed me to integrate my Daikin air conditioner into Home Assistant. Thank you very much!

Absolutely wonderful!

Worked well - Had a little trouble plugging into the S21 port end but it was just a case of alighning it well and not forcing. I swapped ends but not sure there was any difference at all. The faikin worked first time.

Shoutout to Faikin Australia for their quick international shipment (USA), AND that shipping and any tariffs are taken care of. This PCB and cable kit simply looks and feels top notch quality. I really appreciate their extremely helpful web guide to get this going and that is is ready to go, nothing to load up software-wise. Love the magnetic bamboo bottle opener.
