Find the right cable
Every Daikin indoor unit connects to a Faikin Faikout module using one of seven cable types. The cable you need depends on which socket is on your indoor unit's control circuit board. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) ducted and VRF systems on the X-Y bus are also covered.
How to use this page
- Find your indoor unit model number.
- ➡️ For most split systems, this is printed on a label on the side or bottom of the indoor unit.
- ➡️ For ducted systems, follow our guide to finding your ducted unit model number.
- Type it into the search box below.
- The cable type listed beside it is the cable you need.
Search the live database
Start typing your model number (at least 3 characters). Results come straight from our live compatibility database.
* Units marked Type C * or Type F * have two control paths: the X50A port (Faikin Faikout with the marked cable) or the P1/P2 bus (Faikin Ninja P1P2). On VRV systems we recommend the Ninja P1P2. Not sure which suits your setup? Contact us with your model and system details.
