The Faikout module is built to sit without a case inside the indoor unit, and most installs run this way. However, adding a printed case will tidy up the installation and add a layer of protection.
The v1 case was designed by RevK. It is a two-part case that snaps together around the module, with no tools or glue required. It suits any install where the module sits inside or alongside the indoor unit.
The translucent case carries the module's status LED light so it appears to glow. The colour of the LED light is clearly visible without opening the case.
The black case is a discreet option if you would rather the case disappear into the unit.
Both colours have a small viewing hole so the status LED light can be read from outside. Both are marked with Faikin AUS branding.
The extension cables aren't usually needed for wall-mounted units unless you're having WiFi signal issues, in which case moving the module outside of the air-con housing can help. Choose Case + extension cable to add as a discounted bundle or Case only.
Made in our shed from Creality PETG on a Creality K1 printer, the PETG copes better than standard PLA when under warm air conditions in/near the unit. The case holds shape over time.
