Type A cable For standard S21 ports. The S21 port provides 5.3–5.6 V on pin 1 and ground on pin 2, as well as TTL-level TX and RX signals. This cable provides both power and data connections. More information can be found in the GitHub repo under the 'wiring' page.
Type B cable For the smaller S21 ports found on more modern units The S21 port provides 5.3–5.6 V on pin 1 and ground on pin 2, as well as TTL-level TX and RX signals. This cable provides both power and data connections. More information can be found in the GitHub repo under the 'wiring' page. Due to some quality issues with my cable supplier, I am hand-making Type B cables for the forseeable future, hence the price rise.
Type C cables - for X50A sockets. For X50A you need power from X35A as well, this cable provides this interface. More information can be found in the GitHub repo under discussion item 283. Note there aretwo types of X50A sockets. Please carefully reference your socket against the photos. Type F cables are in development to cater for the other socket type - ETA mid April 2025.
Type D cables - for S403 sockets These cables interface using the S403 socket. Only four wires are necessary. These cables are hand-made hence the price difference 🌶️ The S403 port is spicy! It is known to have hazardous high voltages present. Before carrying out any work on an electrical appliance, ensure it is fully disconnected from its power source. 🌶️
Type E cables are for S403 sockets where Type D doesn't fit - new connector type. Please reference photos.
Type F cables will be for X50A sockets where Type C doesn't fit - new connector type. Please reference photos.
Type G cables. These suit the CN_WIRED connector.
